As part of the MedinCircle project, our group recently visited Serre, Salerno (Italy) for a technical visit to an innovative Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Plant.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to explore advanced solutions for organic waste valorisation, renewable energy production, and circular economy practices.
Participants had the chance to learn more about the plant’s operational processes, discuss technological approaches, and exchange knowledge on sustainable resource management.

This experience strengthened collaboration among project partners and highlighted the importance of sharing best practices to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable and circular bio-based systems.
A big thank you to the hosts (in particular Luigi Frunzo) and all participants for their valuable contributions and commitment to advancing the goals of the PRIMA Partnership – MedinCircle project.
